An inside look at my approach to wedding photography
From the moment you inquire to the final delivery of your gallery, my approach is rooted in intentionality, ease, and emotional honesty. If you’re here, you’re likely drawn to something beyond just pretty pictures — you want a story that feels like you, preserved in a way that’s timeless, cinematic, and quietly powerful.
Here’s what you can expect when we work together.
A Thoughtful, Personalized Process
Once you inquire, we’ll schedule a discovery call — a space for us to connect, talk through your vision, and begin crafting a photography experience that feels aligned. I’ll ask about what you’re dreaming of, what matters most to you, and how you want the day to feel. Because your images should reflect more than what it looked like — they should echo the energy, the emotion, and the unspoken moments in between.
My Approach to Storytelling
I approach every wedding with a quiet attentiveness — never overstepping, but always attuned to what’s unfolding. I pay close attention to light, pacing, and atmosphere. I direct gently when needed, and I know when to step back so moments can evolve naturally.
You won’t find stiff posing or generic shot lists here. Instead, you’ll get images that feel real — elegant, elevated, and emotionally resonant.
Light is Everything
The way I work with light is one of the most defining elements of my style. Whether it’s golden hour at an estate property, dappled sunlight through olive trees, or the soft glow of candlelight during a dinner reception — I’m constantly watching how light moves through the space, and how it can be used to shape feeling.
My background is rooted in both editorial composition and documentary instincts, so I blend the two — balancing refinement with authenticity.
What It Feels Like to Be Photographed by Me
My goal is never to make you feel like you’re “on” or performing. I give direction when needed (especially during portraits), but most of the day, I’m quietly present — guiding energy when appropriate and allowing space when it matters most. I notice the in-between moments: a hand on a shoulder, a look across the table, a breath you didn’t know you needed to take.
I believe the best photos are the ones you weren’t thinking about.
Working at Luxury Venues
Whether your day is taking place at an iconic estate, a vineyard in wine country, or a private villa, I understand how to honor the architecture and atmosphere of a space. I’m drawn to texture, structure, and light — and I treat every venue like its own character in the story.
When you hire me, you’re not just getting documentation — you’re getting intentional framing, thoughtful pacing, and a gallery that captures your day with both heart and artistry.
The End Goal
By the time your wedding day arrives, my hope is that you feel completely seen, cared for, and creatively supported. That the process has felt easy and considered. And that your photos feel like you — elevated, expressive, and enduring.
